How to Build a Memory Palace (Video)

April 17, 2020 By Ben McEvoy

This is a rough cut behind-the-scenes look at one of the modules in my upcoming free video course on effective study techniques. I’ve written about the memory palace, or method of loci, before. But thought it potentially beneficial to demonstrate how the memory palace looks in terms of constructing an essay.

This video is just under 10-minutes and gives you a peak at my memory palace for my Oxford finals’ essay on Shakespeare and mythology.

If you like this content, you’ll probably like the course too. We talk about everything from memory tips and tricks like spaced repetition and peg systems to stuff like brain food diets and working out for memory retention.

The course is 80% complete at the moment, but if you have any questions about anything studying-related, feel free to put them to me and I’ll gladly make a Q&A session to go in the course.
