How Powerful is an Oxford Degree? (Video)

April 22, 2020 By Ben McEvoy

Oxford brand name aside, if you’re going to get into tens of thousands of pounds worth of debt and sacrifice at least three years of your life, you want to know if the piece of paper you’ll get at the end of it is worth.

So, as part of the big Oxford Q&A, I decided to answer the question: How powerful is an Oxford University Degree?

The answer applies to any elite university (e.g. Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, etc.)

Are you aiming for Oxford, Cambridge, or one of the Ivy leagues?

If you are and would like some help with anything (personal statement, interview prep, entrance exam advice), feel free to book a consulting session with me.

I don’t do as much consulting as I used to – it used to be my day job and I was excellent at getting people into their top choice of university – but seeing as we’re in lockdown, I figured I could put aside a few extra hours per week for this.
