How to Write the Perfect Personal Statement

August 20, 2020 By Ben McEvoy

I’ve spent the last few weeks looking over hundreds of personal statements during the recording of my new personal statement video course, which is available here.

I have to share some of the dos and don’ts of personal statement writing now.

Here are the secrets of writing a personal statement that will get you an invite to interview that most people don’t seem to know.

Don’t make the same mistakes as most students.

Here’s How to Write the Perfect Personal Statement

Personal Statement Masterclass available now here.

Enrolling in the course will also come with a complimentary 45-minute personal statement consultation session with me where we can drill down and really nail your personal statement (along with other goodies). And there will be a discount just for the first month after release.

Hey, Mr. Mcevoy, is it possible for you to put the video’s transcript underneath your videos? Some people find it easier to read than watch.

Hey, Isha. I might not have the time for a while as my schedule is pretty packed out. But hopefully if I take people on this year I can hire them to do it. Good idea. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for taking the suggestion. I didn’t really think it’d be a massive task, because I thought that normally people who make videos have scripts before hand…

No script – all natural and ad hoc 🙂 Transcribing takes a lot of time so it would likely require investing in paid software. Of course, if you’re feeling up to the task of transcription, Isha, I would be appreciative!
